Implementation of Directive 2020/1828
Implementing act The Directive 2020/1828 has been implemented already in 2022 through amendments to existing legislation, including the Lithuanian Consumer Protection Act.

Qualified entity to bring an action State Consumer Protection Service, consumer associations.
Third-party funding Admissible; must not be held under conflict of interests or negatively affect consumer protection; the qualified entity is required to inform the court of the funding sources
Facilities for consumers Consumers are generally not obliged to reimburse the costs of the proceedings
Other comments In the case of an action to cease or prohibit harmful practices by an entrepreneur, the qualified entity must notify the entrepreneur of the intention to bring an action.
