Implementation of Directive 2020/1828
Implementing act Act of 11th July 2023 on representative actions for the protection of the collective interests of consumers (Representative actions for the protection of the collective interests of consumers act 2023). The Act entered into force on 30th April 2024.

Third-party financing Admissible, but must not lead to conflicts of interests or be detrimental to the protection of the collective interests of consumers.
Facilities for consumers Consumers shall not bear the costs of proceedings; exceptionally, an individual consumer may be required to cover the costs of proceedings incurred as a result of their intentional or negligent behavior.
Other comments The qualified entity is required to consult with the entrepreneur prior to bringing an action to prohibit practices.
